"That's the first time we've really played a team that plays a solid 2-3 [zone] and we need to work on it a little bit," Fallston head coach Mark Hannahs said. "As I said the other day, a win's a win. We play them again, so we're going to prepare for them a little bit better next time."

In their last game before hosting preseason nationally-ranked Baltimore City College, the Patriots (11–0) stormed out to a 16–4 first quarter lead to remain unbeaten.
"We're playing well. I would probably say that we consider our league games our biggest games of the year," John Carroll head coach Tony Martin said. "Playing City is certainly an important opportunity, but not in our minds a big game."
Jarred Jones led John Carroll with 16 points. Ronald Scott added 15, Malcolm McMillan 12, Kamau Stokes 10 and Rodney Elliot nine.
"Rodney Elliot probably played his best game of the year," Martin said.
John Carroll hosts City at 7 p.m. Thursday.
HAVRE dE GRACE 52 Patterson Mill 49
The Warriors (1–1) used a 20–7 advantage in the second quarter en route to defeating Patterson Mill (1–2). Monty Werts led the home team with 11 points in his first game of the season.
"Monty's just really tough to handle," Huskies head coach Jeroud Clark said. "[Warriors head coach] Johnny [Brooks] does a great job with them."
Garett Burkhead led the visitors with 22 points while Reggie Daniels had 12 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks.
"It was his most patient game that he's had," Clark said of Burkhead. "This game was our best team effort."
The Huskies were without point guard J.J. Butler, who was serving an automatic one-game suspension per state rules after receiving two technicals in .
Patterson Mill visits Edgewood at 6:45 p.m. Friday.
EDGEWOOD 94 Harford Tech 82
"It was a lot of points, a lot of tired kids," Cobras head coach Bill Jones said.
Sophomore Isaiah Gills led Harford Tech with 37 points and 22 rebounds.
Jones said that despite the loss, he was happy with the Cobras' performance and that their playing style will benefit them in league play.
"This was a great early season test for our team. Even though the score looks lopsided, we accomplished alot tonight," Jones said. "We're trying to pick up the pace this year, pick up the speed of the game. ... We want to try to score in the 80s, but obviously we don't want to give up 90-some points."
Harford Tech hosts Harford Christian at 6:45 p.m. Monday.
Aberdeen 55 BEL AIR 34
Aberdeen (1–3) took a 20–7 lead after the first quarter and a 34–17 advantage to half in defeating Bel Air (2–2).
Dezmon Hall led the Bobcats with 13 points, four rebounds and four assists. Cavin Murray had seven points and Tyler Norcross had six.
Bel Air visits Joppatowne at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
