Boys Basketball: Smith, Cougars, Fall Short at First Place Warriors

Tyler Smith scored a game-high 22 points.

As the clock ticked down with less than two minutes left in regulation, Fallston coach Mark Hannahs could be heard over the crowd calling for his players to foul.

Time wasn’t on the Cougars side, and neither was the scoreboard.

As the Cougars ramped up the intensity, the Warriors broke the defensive press, and found Jevon Hill-Gee under the basket for a lay-up, re-establishing their double-figure lead and putting the game out of reach for Fallston.

The Cougars were led by Tyler Smith, who dropped a game-high 22 points—including five three-pointers.
