Local Sports Teams Playoff Bound

Playoff action is heating up for Harford County Public Schools. 

The regular season for many fall sports came to an end last week. The boys and girls soccer teams, as well as the field hockey team, received its draws for postseason play. 

Here's a look at the matchups for local schools:

Field Hockey:

(3A) C. Milton Wright received a No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. The Mustangs will host No. 4 North Harford on Thursday.

(3A) Bel Air received a No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. The Bobcats will host No. 3 Aberdeen on Thursday.

(2A) Edgewood received a No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. The Rams will host Elkton on Thursday. 

(1A) Harford Tech received a No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. The team will host Joppatowne on Thursday.

(1A) Fallston received a No. 3 seed and a first-round bye. The team will travel to No. 3 Patterson Mill on Thursday.

Boys Soccer:

(3A) No. 3 Bel Air will host No. 6 Edgewood on Friday.

(3A) No. 2 C. Milton will host No. 7 North Harford on Friday.

(2A) No. 1 Fallston received a first-round bye. The team will host the winner of Elkton - Harford Tech on Oct. 29. 

(2A) No. 2 Patterson Mill received a first-round bye. The team will host the winner of Rising Sun - North East on Oct. 29.

Girls Soccer:

(3A) No. 1 C. Milton received a first-round bye, and will host the winner of Edgewood - Patapsco on Oct. 29. 

(3A) No. 3 North Harford will host No. 6 Aberdeen Friday night. 

(3A) No. 2 Bel Air will host No. 7 Dundalk Friday night. 

(2A) No. 1 Harford Tech received a first-round bye and will host the winner of Rising Sun - Patterson Mill on Oct. 29.

(2A) No. 6 Fallston will travel to No. 3 Elkton on Friday.
