Ravens Left Tackle Visits Harford

WNST.net hosted a live radio show with guest Bryant McKinnie at The Mallet in Fallston Wednesday night.

Bryant McKinnie, Baltimore Ravens left tackle, was in Harford County Wednesday night answering questions about the team pranksters, the upcoming playoffs and former teammate Brett Favre.

McKinnie was a mix of serious and lighthearted as he appeared for the WNST.net live radio show at The Mallet in Fallston. The appearance was part of several live shows WNST is putting on in the greater Baltimore area this week to raise funds for the Living Classroom Foundation.

When talking about practice and the team's momentum moving into the playoffs, McKinnie was all business. During the live broadcast, McKinnie said the Ravens practiced that day and the team is preparing for a number of scenarios, since the players don't know who will be playing them on their home turf.

One of the show's hosts, Drew Forrester, gave a recap of one of McKinnie's plays during the Ravens first matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers this year. Forrester said McKinnie hit Steeler Larry Foote in the back of the head with his forearm and Foote went down.

"I went on the air the next day and I said, 'Bryant McKinnie is my new favorite player,' " Forrester said.

McKinnie gave insight into the Ravens locker room saying Terrell Suggs, Vonta Leach and Ray Rice are the craziest guys in the locker room, with Suggs often pulling pranks and telling jokes.

The former Minnesota Viking also said the drama of Brett Favre joining that team was greatly exaggerated and the former quarterback served as a leader on the team.

McKinnie also admitted to singing karaoke with Venus Williams and although he didn't sing on the show Wednesday night, he told the hosts to hold him to it if the Ravens win the Super Bowl.
