The Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference football season is off to a roaring start, with undefeated programs, improving teams and big offensive shows—particularly through the air.

Check out a dozen numbers in particular that might help put the first two weeks in perspective:

Catches by C. Milton Wright's Will Hazelton that have not ended up in the end zone. Hazelton has four grabs for 177 yards and four touchdowns.

UCBAC teams who have shut out opponents so far in 2013. Bel Air and Fallston pitched shutouts in Week 1, and Perryville blanked North East, 35-0, on Friday.

UCBAC quarterbacks who have thrown for 300+ yards in the opening weeks. C. Milton Wright's Omar Walker (581 yards, 9 TDs), Aberdeen's Lavell McCullers (425 yards, 6 TDs), Perryville's Cameron Cunningham (345 yards, 3 TDs) and Fallston's Brendan Weinhold (319 yards, 4 TDs) are the passing stars through two games.

Eight conference teams are undefeated after Week 2. Aberdeen, Bel Air, Bo Manor, C. Milton Wright, Fallston, Patterson Mill and Perryville are all 2-0. North Harford is 1-0, with its Week 2 game having been rescheduled because of lightning.
