Check out nine numbers in particular that might help put the opening week in perspective:
2UCBAC defenders with two interceptions Friday night. Justin Frey of Bo Manor and Richie Greene of North Harford each intercepted a pass. Frey returned one for a score.
3UCBAC quarterbacks who threw for 200+ yards in week one. C. Milton Wright's Omar Walker (335 yards, 4 TDs), Aberdeen's Lavell McCullers (221 yards, 2 TDs) and Fallston's Brendan Weinhold (201 yards, 2 TDs) put on an arial show.
6UCBAC teams who held opponents to single-digits. Bel Air and Fallston pitched shutouts in Week 1 wins.
8Eight conference teams are undefeated after Week 1. Aberdeen, Bel Air, Bo Manor, C. Milton Wright, Fallston, North Harford, Patterson Mill and Perryville are all 1-0.
9Points by North Harford kicker Sean Bowling, who booted the Hawks to a 9-7 win with three field goals against Perry Hall.
12Solo tackles by C. Milton Wright's Chris Kiley, who finished with 14 total tackles in the opener. Patterson Mill's Trey Hall had a conference-best 10 assists on Friday.
195Conference-best rushing yards for Patterson Mill's Devinn Fisher. He averaged 9.8 yards on 20 carries, scoring two touchdowns for the Huskies.
335Yards passing for C. Milton Wright QB Omar Walker. He went 9-for-12 for four touchdowns and no interceptions.
620Total yards of offense for C. Milton Wright in a rout. The Mustangs racked up 335 yards passing and 285 yards on the ground.
