Traffic lights out
motorists who refuse to stop at these intersections that have inoperative lights
After the storm there are a number of traffic lights out ... typical storm aftermath. But what I can't understand is motorists who refuse to stop at these intersections that have inoperative lights. I seem to recall that Maryland passed a law requiring motorists to treat intersections with inoperative traffic lights as all-way stops. Yet I see a lot of drivers ignoring this and driving through the intersection like nothing is wrong without even slowing down. How can anyone think this is ok to do?
