40 Kids Fingerprinted at Bel Air Buontempo

KidPrint program was sponsored by the Bel Air Police Department and Bel Air Lions Club.

More than 40 kids were fingerprinted at last week as part of a to prepare for emergency situations.

Bel Air Police and the Bel Air Lions Club teamed up with the pizza restaurant Thursday in an effort to help keep children safe. The program, KidPrint, provides parents with plastic identification cards with the child's picture and descriptive information, including height, weight and eye color.

Bel Air Police Chief Leo Matrangola said the event was a success.
