All weekend

The Baltimore Orioles host the Detroit Tigers for a three-game set. Detroit's Max Scherzer will take the mound against Baltimore's Miguel Gonzalez on Friday, with Justin Verlander and Jason Hammel on Saturday, and Rick Porcello against rookie Kevin Gausman on Sunday. All starters are projected as of Wednesday.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra plays Motown classics.

Saturday

Check out an ice cream festival and flea market at Advent Lutheran Church in Forest Hill. In Glen Arm, Waugh United Methodist Church hosts its Strawberry Festival.

Take part in Relay for Life at Bel Air High School.

Rising Sun hosts the annual Sunfest.

A Taste of Two Cities, the Baltimore-Washington food truck battle, returns for another year. This year's competition will be held at Rash Field, near the Maryland Science Center, from noon to 9 p.m. 

Angle for a title in a rockfish tournament in Port Deposit.

The CGR Relentless Run 5K will be held in Perryville.

Take in a wine festival at Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa.
