The town's fire company serves Bel Air and the surrounding communities to prevent fires and protect the citizens in the areas it serves. The volunteer company's board of directors is led by president Anthony P. Coliano Sr. and company meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The department is always looking for new recruits; those who are interested should call to inquire.
