Be prepared to pay $$$$!!!! I was billed $179 for office visit -- saw doctor for less than 5 minutes. I was sick for 12 days and was experiencing 2nd sore throat duing this time so I was concerned it may be strep. PA was very friendly and took culture (another $45) before I saw doctor. When I called to see what the charge is for visit I was told it depends on what "code" doctor puts in and they could not even give me a range.
