The Harford County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying the man who allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven on Abingdon Road at knifepoint.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office released footage Tuesday containing the man suspected in an armed robbery over the weekend at an Abingdon convenience store. At 5:25 a.m. on Saturday, a man with a knife approached the cashier at the 7-Eleven on Abingdon Road at Route 7, demanding money and cigarettes, the sheriff's office said. The man, who was covering his face with a piece of navy sweatshirt, left on foot once he had received the money and cigarettes, according to the report; the sheriff's office said he headed toward Route 7/Philadelphia Road. The Harford County Sheriff's Office released photos of the men suspected of robbing the McDonald's in Constant Friendship in December.
Police are still looking for the men who robbed the Abingdon McDonald's before Christmas and Friday released surveillance photos of the robbery. Around 7 p.m. Dec. 12, two men walked into the McDonald's in the Constant Friendship shopping center, located at 404 Constant Frienship Boulevard, while customers were eating, according to Edward Hopkins, spokesman with the Harford County Sheriff's Office. One man, described as a 6-foot tall, black man wearing all black clothing, white/gray work gloves and a black beanie cap, implied his accomplice had a gun and demanded the manager give them the money out of the cash register, according to Hopkins. Two boys face charges of armed robbery and assault.
Two Aberdeen boys have been arrested on charges related to an April 23 robbery in the parking lot of the Abingdon Target. Rajaun Donte Lifford, 16, and an unidentified juvenile both have been charged with armed robbery, first- and second-degree assault, felony handgun use in a violent crime, concealing a dangerous weapon and theft less than $1,000. Lifford is being charged as an adult and was transported to the Harford County Detention Center. The other teen was transported to Charles Hickey School in Baltimore County. The Harford County Sheriff's Office used surveillance photos from Target security cameras and “several anonymous tips from concerned citizens” to identify the suspects, according to a press release.
