UPDATE: Bel Air Man Cut During Home Invasion
The incident took place Sunday in the Thomas Run area of Bel Air.
UPDATED (5:20 p.m.)—A Bel Air man was cut during an altercation with a burglar in the back yard of his home early Sunday morning. The incident took place at approximately 6:15 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Glendale Lane, where a woman reported to her husband that she heard noises in the basement of their townhome, according to a news release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. The husband went to the basement, where he saw someone outside the basement door, police said. Then, police said, "The victim then went back upstairs grabbed a baseball bat then went out outside to the back yard where he confronted the male suspect striking him with the bat.
