Suspected Murderer Arrested Hiding in Basement
After an extensive search, Bel Air police arrested a Parkville man on charges that he murdered an Aberdeen man in July.
UPDATE (10:04 a.m.)—After avoiding arrest for nearly four months, a 20-year-old Parkville man featured by "Amercia's Most Wanted" was apprehended last night by the Bel Air Police Department on charges that he murdered an Aberdeen man in July. Bel Air detectives and Baltimore city police tracked Rakin Raid "Black" Muhammad to a home in the 1100 block of Myrtle Avenue in Baltimore's Brooklyn neighborhood and found him hiding in the basement there at 10:40 p.m. yesterday. "We developed information that he was hiding out in the basement of that house," Chief of Police Leo Matrangola said.
