UPDATE: Child Stabilized After Accident Near I-95 Edgewood Exit
The accident took place around 5 a.m. Monday.
UPDATE: (1:23 p.m.)—A serious car crash in Edgewood left a child in grave condition Monday morning, fire officials said. As of 12:49 p.m., the child had been stabilized and transferred to a regional pediatric center, according to an update on the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association's Facebook page. Shortly before 5 a.m. an Abingdon woman lost control of her Toyota Camry while merging onto northbound Interstate 95 from Maryland Route 24 in Edgewood, according to a release from Maryland State Police with the JFK Highway Barrack. The Camry hit the side of a tractor trailer, spun into the guardrail and stopped in the second lane of traffic, where it was hit by a Cadillac DTS, the release states.
