Forest Hill Man Charged In Death of Infant Niece

Colin Wolf allegedly hit his 2-month-old niece in the face.

A Forest Hill man was being held without bail Friday afternoon after allegedly causing fatal injury to his infant neice while she was in his care. Colin Cristopher Wolf, 19, of the 2000 block of Bay Meadows Court in Forest Hill, was charged with first- and second-degree attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault and first-degree child abuse, according to a news release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Because the baby died, Wolf's charges are expected to be amended to murder, according to police. The charges stem from a Thursday night incident at the man's home. The following information was obtained from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

The following are recent incidents handled by the Harford County Sheriff's Office: Ronnie’s Beverage Warehouse, 1514 Rock Spring Road, reported 11:07 a.m. Jan. 10. Vandals spray-painted the building and trailer belonging to the business. Colgate Circle, 2000 block, reported 5:39 p.m. Jan. 10. A van was “tagged” by vandals. Kreitler Road, 3400 block, reported 11:53 a.m. Jan. 11. Someone fraudulently charged less than $1,000 on a credit card. Intersection of Ponfield and Tuchahoe roads, reported 10:38 p.m. Jan. 12. People were being loud and drinking in the area. Morning Brook Drive, 1800 block, reported 11:48 p.m. Jan. 12. A loud party caused a noise disturbance in the area.
