A head-on collision claimed the life of an 18-year-old John Carroll School graduate from Forest Hill Tuesday afternoon. Around 2:14 p.m. a head-on collision took place in the area of Old Joppa Road and Mountain Road in Fallston, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Kloiber with the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack. Hanna Mackensie Kriss, 18, of the 100 block of Theodora Court in Forest Hill, was driving north on Mountain Road when her 1999 Saturn crossed the double-yellow line in the area of Old Joppa Road, according to a release from state police. The Saturn sideswiped one vehicle then crashed head-on into a second. Kriss was prounounced dead at the scene.
