Fallston Man Convicted Of Sexually Abusing Child

Sentencing in the case is slated to take place in April.

A Fallston man is facing up to 35 years in jail after he was found guilty this week of sexually abusing a 4-year-old boy. After 10 hours of deliberation a jury found James Thomas Starr, 26, of the 2100 block of Stewart Drive in Fallston, guilty of sexual child abuse and third-degree sexual offense, according to Harford County State's Attorney Joe Cassilly. Starr had illegal sexual contact with a 4-year-old boy in March 2012, according to charging documents. Assistant State's Attorney Lisa Hyle Marts prosecuted the case and presented testimony from the child victim during the trial, Cassilly wrote in an email to Patch. Fallston Man Indicted in Child Molestation Case

James Thomas Starr is accused of allegedly sexually abusing a 4-year-old child, court records show.

A Fallston man was indicted last week on charges he sexually abused a 4-year-old child, court records show. James Thomas Starr was arrested and charged April 4 and subsequently indicted April 24 on five charges, including sex abuse of a minor and perverted practice, according to court records and charging documents. Starr is accused of allegedly having illegal sexual contact with a 4-year-old boy between March 23 and March 28, according to charging documents. At his initial bail hearing in Harford County District Court, Starr, who has an address in the 2100 block of Stewart Drive in Fallston, was ordered held without bail. A bail hearing was scheduled Tuesday morning in Harford County Circuit Court after his indictment. He was being held …

Shame how for a small price of $250,000, you can be temporarily released from HCDC... for a chance to hurt another child. Thats all its worth, huh? & if he posts bail, ...imagine how terrified that child will be... knowing his abuser is freely walking the same streets. Makes me sick.   more ›
