PHOTOS: Outdoor Ravens Rally A Hit

The Bel Air Downtown Alliance organized a second Ravens Rally in advance of Sunday's AFC Championship game.

For Bill Wolfrom of Churchville, attending Friday evening's Ravens Rally in Bel Air was a no-brainer. Wolfrom came out for the event wearing his lucky charm—a construction-style hat that reads "Balt. Bill", complete with a dancing, musical Ravens figure on top. Wolfrom said every time he wears the hat to a game, the Ravens win. He explained last year he had planned to attend a playoff game, but was too sick to do so. This year he's been saving up to go to a big game. "If we win, my wife doesn't know yet, but we're going to the Superbowl," Wolfrom said. What are your predictions for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots? Leave a comment and share your rally photos.

Visions for Vacancies: Gus's Deli Mart

What would you like to see in this commercial vacancy in Bel Air?

Gus's Deli Mart closed suddenly in June and the Bel Air property has remained vacant ever since. The building, located at 306 South Main Street, has a prime location in town just a short distance from Bel Air High School, county office buildings and Main Street shops. The 38,942 square foot building is currently owned by Bel Air Main Limited Partnership LLLP, according to online property records. It was first built in 1961. The location most recently served the area as a convience store and was a Wawa before Gus's took over. The building is currently for lease, according to a sign posted in the store's front window. What business do you think would be a good fit for this commercial property? Tell us in the comments.
