Officials Investigating 2 Edgewood Fires

A shed, deck and wood pile burned in separate incidents this weekend in Harford County.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating two fires that occurred Saturday and Sunday in Harford County. The fires were reported approximately 20 hours apart in a neighborhood in the Willoughby Beach area of Edgewood. Officials said the incidents do not appear to be related. Albantowne Way Shed Fire Crews responded at 11:14 p.m. Saturday to a shed fire in the 3400 block of Albantowne Way in Edgewood, according to a release from the fire marshal. The 6-by-10-foot wood shed sustained $1,000 in damage. Crews from Abingdon, Joppa and Aberdeen Proving Ground extinguished the fire in 10 minutes.
