A Netflix original drama series will be produced in Harford County.

Get ready for local celebrity sightings. The first season of a political thriller series is set to be produced in Harford County, according to a release from the county executive's office. The 13-episode series entitled "House of Cards" is considered Netflix's first original drama. Media Rights Capital and Netflix agreed to base production out of Harford County, the release stated.
