Prospect Mill Principal to Sleep on Roof, Again
The students of Prospect Mill Elementary School met their fundraising goals and as a reward voted to have their principal sleep on the roof as he did the year before.
What happens when you put a principal on the school roof? You get a lot of happy students. For the second year in a row, Prospect Mill Elementary School Principal Chris Cook will make his way to the school roof for bed. Cook made a deal with his students that if they raised $12,500 he would do something "crazy," Danielle Spigler, Prospect Mill Parent Teacher Association secretary, wrote in an email to Patch. Last year, Prospect Mill students raised more than $10,000 for playground equipment and Cook spent the night on the school roof based on a similar agreement.
