Two people were injured in an evening crash in Abingdon that temporarily closed Maryland Route 24 to northbound traffic, fire officials said. Around 9 p.m. Tuesday, a car crash took place on Route 24 in the area of Singer Road, according to an official Facebook post from Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association. One person was flown by medevac helicopter to a regional trauma center for treatment while a second was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, Gardiner wrote. Route 24 was closed to northbound traffic as police investigated the crash.

The fire on Hess Road was reported Monday evening.
There were no injuries as the result of a fire in Fallston Monday, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. At 5:38 p.m, fire was reported on the 2500 block of Hess Road. The blaze was originally reported as a shed fire but ended up being a large pile of wood on fire, according to Gardiner. Firefighters from Fallston, Jarrettsville and Jacksonville responded to the call, Gardiner said. According to Gardiner, the fire was out at approximately 6:45 p.m.

UPDATE (10:17 a.m.)—One woman is dead and three were injured in a Thursday afternoon accident in Forest Hill that involved a trailer carrying two horses. Bradley Garrett Baker, of Fallston, was stopped on Grafton Shop Road preparing to cross MD Route 23, or East-West Highway, in a 1998 Chevy S-10 at around 3:30 p.m., according to Maryland State Police with the Bel Air Barrack. At the same time, a 2000 Peterbuilt oil tanker was heading west on Route 23 while a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban towing a horse trailer was eastbound on the highway, state police said. A late morning car accident in Forest Hill injured multiple people Wednesday, fire officials say. A medevac helicopter landed at Rockfield Park in Bel Air Thursday morning to transport a young man injured after jumping out of a car.
UPDATE: (2:26 p.m.)—An Abingdon man was flown to an area trauma center after jumping from a moving vehicle Thursday in Bel Air. Shortly before 8:30 a.m. police and medical personnel arrived in the area of Route 22 and Fulford Avenue in Bel Air town limits after an accident was reported, according to a post from Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman, Rich Gardiner, on the association's official Facebook page. A Bel Air bar was the scene of a fight that ended with two people being stabbed.
Two people were stabbed during a fight at Dark Horse Saloon in Bel Air Saturday night. The fight started inside the tavern, located at 119 S. Main Street, shortly after 11:30 p.m according to a release from the Bel Air Police Department. Two people were stabbed in the scuffle that spilled out onto the parking lot, the release states. One victim was stabbed in the neck and chest. A second person suffered wounds to the back. Three Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company medic units responded to the scene to treat the victims, said Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. The early morning fire damaged a home in the Street area.
A fire broke out inside a Street home early Monday morning, ultimately causing an estimated $275,000 damage, fire officials said. The occupant of a one-story rancher in the 2000 block of Mt. Horeb Road noticed his home was on fire around 3:20 a.m., according to a release from the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office. The fire went to a second alarm drawing fire companies from Jarrettsville, Whiteford, Fallston, Norrisville and Bel Air in Harford County as well as from companies in Delta-Cardiff, Fawn Grove and Jacksonville, according to the release. A man in his fifties suffered injuries in the wake of a fall.

Two dozen people had to leave their homes Monday night when a fire broke out in a Bel Air apartment building.
