Have you seen this cat?
One Harford County family started the new year without the feline member of their household. Five days before Christmas, Sebastian Lukasik took his cat Jet to the Fallston Veterinary Clinic, located at 2615 Belair Road in Fallston. Jet was suffering from an injured front right paw. As Lukasik headed back to the car after the visit, the bottom of Jet's carrier detached and the frightened cat ran into a nearby wooded area. Jet has been missing ever since. "Every 24 hours I’m out there looking," Lukasik said. Jet is a black domestic shorthaired cat described as shy, typically only approaching members of the Lukasik's direct family. He may still be limping from the injury to his paw. Jet is also neutered and up to date on all of his shots. …

A missing cat was reunited with his Forest Hill family.
A Forest Hill cat who had been missing since June has safely returned home. Jack, a 17-year-old cat, slipped out the door to his home on June 26. Owner Jean Wilson and her family were concerned because he is, "a total house cat and has no idea about being outside," Wilson wrote in an announcement on Patch. Although he showed signs of weight loss and a few scrapes, Jack was otherwise healthy after about three weeks on the run. Now safe and sound at home, the friendly cat is all about snuggling with Wilson or her daughter. "I am hoping the [Patch] article had something to do …

This dog was last seen July 12.
It's been days since Shanna Cavalera has seen her dog and she is worried sick. "She’s really great with kids and it’s not just me that misses her, my whole entire family does," Cavalera said. Because it was going to be a quick stop, Cavalera let Layna come along for the ride. When the doors to the van opened and Layna saw her friend the Beagle, the two dogs tore off into the woods. Cavalera and her sister chased the dogs until they reached a briar patch they couldn't get through. Her sister's Beagle later …
