A good example why our crime rate is so high in Maryland, a $3000 Bond for this kind of action is a complete joke. Way to go Judges, maybe you ought to give him a medal too since he didn't kill anybody this time.

Well said Mr. Craig and thank you for speaking out. First this project was stalled by Morgan State and now this silly crap. If OweMalley and Mr. Franchot have a problem with Towson than they should address it through their funding allowance and not take it out on our children who could really use this opportunity to earn a four year degree. What's next, this project just can't get off the ground.

Very proud that our Harford County Delegation demonstatrated common sense in voting No. I too would also like to know how it costs more to house a prisoner for life versus execution. Now that this very important deterrent to crime has been removed our Police Officers, Prison Guards and the Public in general are at a lot greater risk of injury and death from some low life criminal. Hopefully this will go to referendum and there are enough people with common sense in Maryland to overturn this. Look up who voted for this and clean house next election. Mr. Owe Malley, go tell the family of someone brutally murdered how you will house the criminal for life and provided free medical and meals and other amenities.

Maybe I'am missing something here, but why did it require five fire companies to handle a fire in a 15' x 30' shed and two junk vehicles ?

I'am with Dan & Amber on this one. This reminds me of the Dukes of Hazard or Smokey and the Bandit. I think the Police should just wipe the egg off their faces and get over it. People shouldn't be performing these kind of stunts in town but you have to admit it was pretty funny, did not hurt anyone and was performed right in front of the Sheriffs Office and in the middle of Town ? And what makes it even more hilarious is the Police response, go get em Roscoe !

Thank you Mr. Franchot for sharing some common sense with all of us. I am 61 years old and born and raised in Maryland and a registered Democrat but in no way vote only Democrat. I voted for Ehrlich and was very impressed with the way Mr. Ehrlich and Mr. Shaefer worked together to run the State Government. O'Malley was only put in office by two districts in Maryland wth a majority of minoriity voters, after seeing what he did to Baltimore City, the Police Chiefs, Sheila Dixon on the take, Sheila Dixons sister on the payroll and never working a day in the city, increased crime rate, and so on, how could anyone in their right mind have voted for him as Govenor ? Since day one all we hear is that the State is broke and not one time have I heard of any cost savings or cost saving plans. What about last winter, we did not save any money with the minimal amount of snowfall ? The new septic system regulations and costs are ridiculous. I thought that when the Lottery was approved the money was suppose to go to Schools, where does it go ? Building more Casinos is crazy and not the solution. How much money was transferred out of the transportation fund ? Maryland is certainly in a sorry state thanks to Mr. O'Malley and God help us if there are enough stupid people in the U.S.A. to elect him as President should he be nominated. We are all Americans and should work together regardless of our Political Party affiliations.

My favorite is Suntrust Bank of Bel Air. When you walk in everyone greets you, they don't have a constant turnover of personel like some banks I've used so you can build a good working relationship. When I renewed my Commercial Loan the Loan Officer brought the paper work to me to sign and even to my wifes place of employment for her signature. Their Customer service is the best I have ever experienced.

Never mind that we are trying to come out of a recession and that a lot of people are losing their jobs. What did the County general work force, who work full time, receive for raises and I don't hear them complaining, most people are just glad to have a job and a job with benefits.
