John Morin, Neighbor

John Morin recently graduated from Harford Community College with his A.A. in English.

While attending HCC, John was the Features Editor for the <i>Harford Owl</i>, as well as a photographer and freelance writer. He has written stories covering such topics as homelessness in Harford County, child soldiers in Uganda, media influence and depression in college students.

John was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa as well as the Vice President of the recently established Journalism Club. Over the past few years, he has gone on to do promotional, commercial, and portrait photography for local residents and businesses.

In his spare time, John enjoys writing creatively, photography, hiking and travelling. And, of course, he’s always looking for that next story.
