Fallston Teens to Thank Rescuers by Coordinating Blood Drive

On the night of January 30th of this year, Josh Wilson and Brendan Weinhold were involved in a very serious traffic accident. Josh and Brendan now want to thank the members of the Fallston and Bel Air Volunteer Fire Department, and the team at Shock Trauma, for their efforts that night in a meaningful way.

The Fallston teens are coordinating with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive to be held at the Fallston Fire Hall on Thursday, August 22nd from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. The event is open to everyone in the community who wishes to show their support for the local volunteer fire departments by donating blood. In order to make donations as convenient as possible, those wishing to donate blood can reserve their time by logging onto the American Red Cross website at: http://www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation-sponsor?field_sponsor_code_value=05315232.

Event organizers have also created a Facebook page to promote participation. That can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/events/407607739360070/?notif_t=plan_user_joined. Or you can search on Facebook for the “Friends of Weinhold and Wilson Blood Drive.”
