Harford Lyme Advocates Support Group Meet. Guest Speaker Dr. Russell Moy!!

Harford Lyme Advocates, the Harford County Chapter of National Capital Lyme Association,  Support Group Meeting has the honor of hosting Guest Speaker Dr. Russell Moy.  Dr.
Russell W. Moy joined the Harford County Health Department as Deputy Health
Officer in 2011.  In that capacity, Dr.
Moy has responsibility for clinical health services, care coordination, health
policy and other population health related areas.

Dr. Moy will present a summary of his findings from the
“Methylation and Clinical Nutrigenomics” Conference, October 2013 given by Dr.
Benjamin Lynch

On October 12-13, 2013 in Kenmore, Washington, Dr.
Benjamin Lynch, N.D., President/CEO of Seeking Health, LLC and founder of
MTHFR.Net, provided an intensive teaching session to health care providers on
the importance of nutrition and genetics as they relate to certain illnesses,
such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, Alzheimer’s Disease, Lyme
Disease, and other chronic conditions. 
Dr. Lynch specifically explored the effect that the MTHFR (methyltetrahydrofolate
reductase) gene mutation, present in approximately 45% of the population, has
on overall health and well-being, specifically reviewing the role that
nutrients play in key biochemical pathways.

Meetings are free and open to all.
