White Marsh Mall Hosts MDA Muscle Walk
Over 50,000 individuals participated in MDA Muscle Walks across the country last year, raising $7 million to support its global research program. Join White Marsh Mall and the Muscular Dystrophy Association for the Baltimore MDA Muscle Walk on Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each dollar raised or donated goes directly to support the programs and services provided by the local MDA. Every small step will make a big difference for hundreds of people in the Baltimore area living with the neuromuscular disease.
The MDA Muscle Walk seeks to allow participants to have fun, while honoring children and adults with any of the more than 40 muscle diseases in MDA’s program, and raising funds to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association foster research and provide vital services to families affected by neuromuscular disease.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the nation’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to neuromuscular research, health care and education. Neuromuscular disease affects people of all races, ethnicities and socioeconomic status. That’s why MDA works to ensure that all Americans affected by these diseases have access to specialized, knowledgeable health care. MDA is proud to serve as a voice for families affected by neuromuscular disease.
