Sheriff's Office Seeks Info About Abingdon Walmart Purse-Snatching Suspects

Qualifying tips could lead to a $2,000 reward, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office released images Tuesday depicting a woman and man it says are suspects in a recent purse-snatching at Walmart in Abingdon.

The sheriff's office is asking for the public's help in identifying the individuals, whose pictures it obtained from the store's surveillance footage.

The female is suspected of stealing a purse on Oct. 22 that contained personal items in addition to money, according to Edward Hopkins, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

She is approximately 6 feet tall, 160 pounds and has long black hair, the sheriff's office statement said.

The man pictured is a possible accomplice, according to the sheriff's office.

Information that leads to an arrest and indictment may qualify for a reward up to $2,000. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
