A Bel Air teen charged with murdering his father is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in late Tuesday morning.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. in District Court.

Richardson's felony charges stem from an , police said. Around 10:45 p.m., there was a 911 call from the Richardson's home on Moores Mill Road in Bel Air about a domestic disturbance.
Richarson III's sister allegedly made the call and told dispatchers her brother had shot her father, according to a WJZ report.
When police arrived, they said they found evidence indicating there may have been a shooting at the home. The 16-year-old was after a police chase.
The teen allegedly told police he shot and killed his father, Robert Richardson Jr., age 58, and dumped the body in Aberdeen, according to the .
