Multiple People Involved in Edgewood Stabbing: Officials

One was taken to shock trauma, according to Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

First responders were at the scene of a stabbing in Edgewood, Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Multiple people were stabbed in the 500 block of Candlewood Drive, according to the report from Joppa-Magnolia. (Update: One woman was charged.)

Two women had been arguing in the area of Cunion Field, The Aegis reported. The dispute moved to Candlewood Drive, where a third woman got between the two and started swinging a knife, according to Edward Hopkins, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

One person was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, while two others were taken to Upper Chesapeake, according to Joppa-Magnolia.

The woman taken to shock trauma had a gash on her head, and the others had cuts that may require stitches, according to Fox 45, which reported none of the injuries was believed to be life-threatening.
