GET OUT: Gun Show, Cheer, Karaoke

Check out these events that provide opportunities for laughs—intentionally or not.

Sure, the Super Bowl is coming, but there are plenty of other things to do this weekend. Our guide to Friday through Sunday will appear weekly on its new day with a wider range of events.

Is there something we didn't include that others would like to know about? Tell everyone about it in the comments.

Annual Gun Show: No it's not that corny guy who wants to pull his sleeves up and show you his biceps, it's an actual gun show. From 5–9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, you can gain admittance for $5. The event takes place at the Armory and "displays, sales, trades, antique and modern firearms, decoys, knives, coins and books."

Royal Comedy Tour: D.L. Hughley is among the comedians in this show at the First Mariner Arena. Tickets are between $37.50 and $47. "Queen of Comedy" Sommore headlines the event.

Half Pints Karaoke: Do you want to sing the blues for all the cold weather we've been getting? I'd prefer you perform something more uplifting. Either way, get to the Agora Drive pub by 9 p.m. Friday to see performances that probably would not make Simon Cowell proud.
