Maryland BBQ Bash Returns To Bel Air
The two-day event will feature teams of cooks from throughout the mid-Atlantic competing for $12,500 in prizes.

Among the 60-plus competitors will be several past participants of cable TV channel TLC’s “BBQ Pitmasters,” including defending grand champion Tuffy Stone of Cool Smoke, Lee Ann Whippen of Wood Chicks BBQ, Dan Hixon of 3 Eyz BBQ and of Jack’s Old South BBQ. Mixon served as a judge on the show and is a three-time Memphis in May world champion.

But it’s not all about the food.
Bel Air Patch will be stationed at the event both days. Drop by to pick up some Patch swag and chat with editors. The also has several events planned for an anticipated attendance of 25,000 people.
