Roche Wins Tourism Award

Wini Roche was recently honored at the state level for her tourism efforts.

Harford County's manager for the Office of Tourism, Wini Roche was the recipient of the annual "Tourism Advocate" award from the Maryland Tourism Council.

Roche received the award at the organization's annual summit on Nov. 5 in Annapolis.

"I am delighted an honored to be recognized by the Maryland Tourism Council for my work in promoting tourism for Harford County and our great state," Roche said. "Harford County has much to offer which makes my work that much more exciting and interesting."

"Tourism Day," which Roche is coordinating, is scheduled for Jan. 28, 2011 in Annapolis.
