GET OUT: Federal Hill Stroll, Meet Kimmie, College Lacrosse
We have a pretty good slate of events for this weekend, but if you know of something else, add it in the comments.
One of college lacrosse's biggest days takes place in Baltimore on Saturday. While you're down there, consider going to the Federal Hill Irish Stroll afterward. There are other great events in the area, including visits with 2006 world champion figure skater Kimmie Meissner.

Where/When: Federal Hill in Baltimore; Saturday, noon to 9 p.m.
Why Go: A strolling bag piper will serenade you the entire time as a number of downtown businesses participate in this festival. In addition to food specials and green beads, $2 Miller Lites will be served. Make sure to have a designated driver or other form of sober transportation.

Where/When: M&T Bank Stadium; Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why Go: Watch three great college lacrosse games with six of the nation's best teams at the home of the Ravens. Syracuse and Georgetown play the early matchup, followed by Cornell and Virginia at 1:30 p.m. and Johns Hopkins and UMBC close the action with a 4 p.m. game.

3. TIDDLYWINKS SECOND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Where/When: ; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Why Go: This free kids event features story time, crafts, cupcakes from Flavor Cupcakery, raffle prizes and visits from Maisy Mouse and Aberdeen Ironbirds mascot, Ferrous.
Pricing: Free
Where/When: 2315 Belair Road, Fallston; Saturday, 8 p.m. to midnight
Why Go: Laissez les bon temps roulez and dance the night away to a mix of ballroom, latin and classic dance favorites. Light fare and soft drinks to be served, BYOB.

5. MEET KIMMIE MEISSNER
Where/When: Forest Hill and Bel Air; Saturday 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: The 2006 world champion and Olympian will make appearances the Forest Hill, Main Street and Festival ShopRites. She'll be at the Forest Hill location at 10 a.m., Main Street at noon and Festival at 2 p.m. for about 90 minutes each.
