Crime: Helpless Deer; Banned from Dark Horse

Bel Air Police used a shotgun to kill a deer that was stuck in a fence.

Jan. 17, 7 a.m. Police had to shoot a deer after an officer discovered the animal stuck in a fence with a broken leg. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Roland Place near a pond. The carcass was then removed.

Jan. 16, 1:39 a.m. A 22-year-old Cockeysville man was charged with driving while impaired. Kevin Michael Hudson of the 100 block of Glenmore Avenue was pulled over by police in the 300 block of South Main Street.

Jan. 16, 12:57 a.m. A Bel Air woman was charged with driving while impaired after being pulled over at the intersection of Main Street and Fulford Avenue. Shereen Brennan Jahed of the 200 block Hunters Run Terrace was charged with the offense.

Jan. 15, 12:47 a.m. A 30-year-old Bel Air man was banned from Dark Horse for life following a disturbance. Joshua Johanan Menking of the 700 block of North Shamrock Road was served a banning letter following an incident at the Main Street bar.

Jan. 14, 2:09 a.m. A 23-year-old Parkville male was arrested and charged with DUI. Anthony Christopher Harrigan was pulled over at the intersection of Hickory Avenue and Churchville Road.
