Joppa Firefighters Investigate Smoke at Liquor Store
Crews responded to a call on South Mountain Road in Joppa Saturday morning.
An equipment issue drew first responders to a liquor store in Joppa Saturday morning, according to Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
At approximately 10 a.m.. on Saturday, smoke was reported inside Freddie's Fine Wine in the 1400 block of South Mountain Road, the fire company said.
Firefighters traced the source to the air handling unit, according to Joppa-Magnolia, which said some crews stayed to handle smoke removal while most left the scene by 10:15 a.m.
