A spokesperson for the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack said Adam Glenn Thompson was driving a 1999 Acura 2.3 CL near the 3000 block of Conowingo Road when he "failed to maintain control" of his vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole adjacent to the southbound lane, just north of Sandy Hook Road.
