Street Man, 19, Dies in Accident Early Tuesday
Adam Glenn Thompson is the second Street man to die in a Bel Air accident in less than two weeks.
A 19-year-old Street man died in a single-vehicle accident early Tuesday while traveling northbound on U.S. Route 1.
A spokesperson for the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack said Adam Glenn Thompson was driving a 1999 Acura 2.3 CL near the 3000 block of Conowingo Road when he "failed to maintain control" of his vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole adjacent to the southbound lane, just north of Sandy Hook Road.
Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, who closed the road for about three hours and 45 minutes.
