Woman Who Fell Out of Moving Car Hospitalized Again

Police are still investigating the incident.

The 23-year-old after falling onto Maryland Route 22 from her car April 3 has been hospitalized a second time, according to police.

Lauren Elizabeth O’Connell, who lives in the 3800 block of Kendall Drive, was released from the hospital last week, but was admitted again over the weekend when her condition worsened. Police did not specify to which hospital she was taken.

The and Maryland State Police are still investigating the incident.

O'Connell was riding with her boyfriend in a 2009 Acura when she fell out of the car. Arish Narayen, 25, of the 11000 block of Log Jump Trail in Ellicott City, told police the couple was arguing when O'Connell jumped from the car.

O’Connell was treated by  personnel before being taken to Maryland Shock Trauma by a state police helicopter.
