Terence Hanley's Response to Theft Charge

Town Commissioner Terence Hanley declined comment on his  before and after .

“I’d love to be able to talk, but I can’t,” Hanley said after a Patch reporter repeatedly asked about , as first reported by Patch.

Hanley, who in a Lexus, also responded “no comment” multiple times. The two-term commissioner did not respond .

When asked if he did not have a comment for that either, Hanley said: “Correct.”

Hanley hung up on a Patch reporter once last week and did not return two voicemails left on his cell phone Thursday and Friday.

He has a preliminary inquiry hearing scheduled for 1 p.m. Oct. 11 in Cecil County District Court.
