Hanley Trial on Theft Charge Scheduled for November
The Bel Air commissioner is nearing the end of his second four-year term.
The trial for Bel Air Commissioner Terence Hanley on charge of theft is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Nov. 2 in courtroom one at the Cecil County District Court, according to court records.
Hanley, who is nearing the end of his second four-year term as one of five , is from his former employer, Ramsey Ford in Elkton. He has been charged with one count of theft between $1,000 and $10,000.
Hanley, who was summoned Monday, previously had an arraignment scheduled for Oct. 11, but it was canceled when he hired a lawyer.

Elkton attorney H. Norman Wilson Jr., who represents Hanley, had not returned a message left Thursday afternoon at his office seeking comment.

He also declined comment in November. Voting is scheduled for six days after the scheduled trial.
