Basketball Roundup: Patriots Take Another in Overtime

The Patriots remained unbeaten in MIAA and BCL play.

The Patriots stretched their record to 27–1 with an overtime win against the visiting Cardinals on Tuesday.

Jarred Jones had a game-high 14 points for John Carroll while Ronald Scott added 11 points and Malcolm McMillan 10.

The Patriots moved to 11–0 in MIAA "A" Conference play and the Baltimore Catholic League. They are scheduled to host Mount St. Joseph at 7 p.m. Friday.

Tyler Smith's 18 points led the Cougars to a home victory Tuesday night. Garrett Fender added 13 points and 11 rebounds while Tyler Constantine had 10 points for Fallston.

The Cougars went on a 12–0 run to open the fourth quarter while holding the Mustangs to 10 points in the final eight minutes.

Elkton visits the Cougars at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a snow make-up game. The Mustangs are scheduled to host Edgewood on Friday at 7 p.m.

HARFORD TECH 66 Bohemia Manor 65

Dre Jones scored a team-high 24 points for the Cobras to go with six rebounds. The senior made six 3-pointers.

Sophomore Isaiah Gills went 13-for-14 from the free throw line in a 21-point, 12-rebound performance. Junior Telvonne Lambert chipped in eight points and eight assists.

Harford Tech is scheduled to host Patterson Mill at 6:45 p.m. Friday.

JOHN CARROLL 45 Bryn Mawr 28 Girls

Playing their third game in as many days, the Patriots locked down the Mawrtians for another IAAM "B" Conference victory.

Tiffany Clunie had 16 points for John Carroll (16–7, 10–2 IAAM "B") while Emily Soller added nine.

The Patriots are scheduled to host Park in their regular season finale at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

HARFORD TECH 65 Bohemia Manor 30 Girls

Nursing a 20–17 lead at the half, the Cobras blew out the visiting Eagles to finish Tuesday's matchup.

Allanah Galloway scored 20 to lead the Cobras, but Whitney Chavis helped the home team dominate the boards with 22 rebounds to go with her 12 points.

Emily Edmunds had 14 points and five assists for Harford Tech while Maria Kalambihis scored 11 points to go with seven rebounds. Ashley Frazier added 12 rebounds for the Cobras.

Harford Tech is scheduled to host North East at 7 p.m. Thursday.
